Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC), chaired by Mazahir Panahov, convened for another routine meeting on Friday.

The meeting saw the endorsement of the protocols of the commission’s previous meetings on January 15, 18 and 20, 2024.

The commission members then considered and approved the accreditation of the Citizens’ Labor Rights Protection League (together with the US ORACLE ADVISORY GROUP), “Rey” Monitoring Center and the Social Research Center to conduct exit poll in Azerbaijan’s snap presidential election scheduled for February 7.

The meeting also saw the registration of the presidential candidates’ attorneys.

The participants also involved in adjusting the composition of some district election commissions, as well as addressing the current issues.
