The 14th Gabala International Music Festival featured a special chamber music evening on July 27, marking the 140th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s legendary composer Uzeyir Hajibayli.

According to AZERTAC’s regional correspondent, the concert program included performances by People’s Artists Ulviyya Hajibayli (piano) and Gulnaz Ismayilova (soprano).

Addressing the event, Ulviyya Hajibayli provided an overview of Uzeyir Hajibayli’s creative legacy and performed selected works.

The evening continued with a program featuring compositions by prominent Azerbaijani composers, including Uzeyir Hajibayli, Afrasiyab Badalbayli, Soltan Hajibayov, Gara Garayev, Arif Malikov, Tofig Guliyev, Fikrat Amirov, Niyazi Hajibayov, and Farhad Badalbayli.
