Armenian PM expresses gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for opening cargo transit through Azerbaijan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the decision to unblock the cargo transit to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan, and launch bilateral trade as he addressed the meeting of the Supreme Eurasia Economic Council held in St. Petersburg, the Russian Federation.
According to TASS news agency, Pashinyan emphasized the prospects for cooperation based on principles of reciprocity and equality, sovereignty and national jurisdiction. He noted that these positive and constructive changes create new opportunities for all countries in the wider region, contributing to enhancing economic stability and expanding regional communications.
The Armenian PM described this decision as one of the first and most important achievements in establishing peace and stability in the region.
