Azerbaijan calls on its citizens in Iran to comply with security measures
Due to the current heightened tensions between the State of Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran and has called on those currently in the country to leave via Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The ministry advised Azerbaijani citizens to observe safety measures, avoid places of mass gatherings, follow the instructions of local authorities, and monitor official information sources.
“In case of emergency, citizens are requested to contact the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Consulate General in Tabriz as follows:
