On March 31, Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense commemorated the victims of the Azerbaijani genocide.

In a statement on X marking the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis, Türkiye’s Defense Ministry described the tragic events of 1918 as a “black stain” on human history.

“Thousands of innocent Azerbaijani Turks were brutally killed by Armenian militant groups. We remember the genocide committed against our brothers and will never forget or let it be forgotten,” the Turkish Ministry of National Defense emphasized.
